Why am I having trouble viewing the flyer?
Many computers store web pages on the hard drive to help access web pages more quickly. However, when your browser retrieves a page from its cache instead of the internet source, the page displayed may not be the most recent version. If an older version of our flyer appears, try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, or you have received an error message, follow your browser's help menu to clear your computer's cache.
My computer screen does not display an entire page. I have to use the scroll bars to view all the information. How can I reduce the scrolling?
As computer screens come in many different sizes, we want to ensure our web pages are readable on all screens. This means scrolling is a necessary function embedded in our web site design. While you can adjust your computer screen to resize to the browser, the text will most likely be too small and difficult to read.
Can I check product availability online?

Are the same products available in at all the stores?
Product availability varies from one store to another and selection is customized to meet individual community needs. If you are unable to find a product, please speak with your local store manager and they may be able to assist you.
How do I suggest that my store carries a new product?
We always welcome
suggestions for
new products that
can help us best
meet our customers'
needs. Please
send us an e-mail
with the name
of the product,
size, where you've
seen it carried,
and if possible,
the UPC number
(bar code). Decisions
are based on product
availability,
the number of
requests we've
received for the
same product,
and the selection
of similar products
we may already
carry.
Why can I no longer find my favourite product?
There are several reasons why we may no longer carry a product, including availability from the supplier, seasonality of an item or discontinuing one item to make room for a new item. We strive to choose products that best meet the needs of all of our customers. If a product you are looking for is no longer available, please speak with your store manager and they may be able to assist you.
What is your product return policy?
The full value of a non-perishable product will be refunded within 14 days of purchase when accompanied by a receipt and the product. If the purpose of your return relates to the quality of a national brand item, we suggest you contact the company that manufactured the product directly. Manufacturers are the experts on their own products and welcome customer feedback.
What is your rain check policy?
Rain checks are issued for advertised flyer items that are temporarily out of stock. Rain checks are redeemable within 14 days of the date of issue.
What is your Scanning Code of Practice?
If the scanned price of a non-price ticketed item is higher than the shelf price or any other displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the first item free, up to a maximum $10 value.
Can I buy gift cards?
Gift cards can be purchased and redeemed at all IGA stores across Canada. Gift cards are available in a denomination of your choice in Ontario. Please visit the store to make your purchase. Phone orders are not accepted.
If I buy a gift card at IGA, can it be redeemed at Sobeys?
Yes. IGA gift cards are also accepted at any Sobeys stores across Canada.
